How are you dear? Today, we will make a quick and delicious recipe using wheat, jaggery, and clarified butter that anyone can prepare. If anyone eats these ladoos/laddus/balls, they will repeatedly ask for more because it’s so tasty and quick to make, ready in just 55 minutes. I, Your Brother has prepared this recipe in Our Sagar’s Kitchen. Make it and enjoy, I’m telling you, it’s incredibly tasty!


  • 1 kg wheat flour (fine or coarse)

  • 1/4 cup gram flour

  • 1/4 cup semolina

  • 1 cup warm water

  • 1/4 tsp cardamom powder

  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg powder

  • 1/2 cup cashews and almonds

  • 2.5 cups clarified butter (ghee)

  • 2 cups jaggery


  • Take a large plate and mix 1 kg wheat flour with 1/4 cup gram flour, 1/4 cup semolina, and 2 tbsp clarified butter. Use your fingers to move and mix the ingredients well.
  • Gradually add 1 cup of warm water to form a tight dough. Make small round balls and flatten them into tight discs using a pressing motion, as if making a fist with a single hand.
  • Heat 2 cups of clarified butter in a pan and fry these discs until they turn golden brown.
  • Let them cool, and you will notice that they become crispy. Grind them in a grinder to make a powder.
  • Add 1/4 tsp cardamom powder, 1/4 tsp nutmeg powder, and a 1/2 cup mix of cashews and almonds to the powder.
  • In a separate pan, melt 2 cups of clarified butter, add 2 cups of jaggery, and mix well.
  • Combine the jaggery-clarified butter mixture with the powder mixture in another pan and mix thoroughly.
  • Aiyo, then shape the mixture into round balls, and your healthy churma ladoo or choorma laddoo or churma laddu or wheat-sweet balls are ready to be enjoyed!


  • When making this food, ensure that the dough is well-kneaded and the discs are pressed tightly to achieve the desired crispiness after frying.
  • For a richer flavor, consider adding a mix of various nuts like cashews and almonds to the powder mixture before combining it with the jaggery-clarified butter mixture. This will enhance the taste and texture of the food.
