Look, there are no chemicals or colors in this, and there is no gelatin either. Aiyo, I’m telling you the truth, and this entire jelly is made from fruit, completely natural. And it’s so tasty, so soft, I mean, it’s all jelly jelly.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 1/2 cup fruit juice

  • 1 cup water

  • 1/4 cup cornflour

Instructions

  • Begin by making a juice using any fruit of your choice, such as litchies, strawberries, grapes, peaches, mangoes, cherries, pineapples, etc. Strain the juice and add it to a pan along with 1 cup of sugar.
  • Reduce it on medium flame, stirring continuously until it reaches 60% reduction and achieves a thick, syrupy consistency.
  • In a separate pan, mix 1 cup of water and 1/4 cup of cornflour. Keep it on low heat until the cornflour dissolves completely. Then, turn on the heat to medium and stir continuously until it becomes thick and transparent.
  • Take the syrup prepared earlier and gradually add it to the cornflour mixture. Increase the flame and stir well for 4-5 minutes.
  • Once the mixture thickens and sets, take a buttered mold, pour the mixture into it, and let it set for 2-3 hours.
  • After setting, If you want to cut the jelly into gummy candies then you can coat it with fine sugar after making pieces so that it doesn’t feel sticky to your hands.
  • Aiyo, Your natural and tasty fruit jelly is ready to be enjoyed!

Tips

  • To enhance the presentation, consider using different fruit-shaped molds for the jelly, creating attractive and varied shapes.
  • When reducing the fruit juice and sugar mixture to achieve a syrupy consistency, keep stirring continuously to prevent burning and ensure even thickness.
